This is the only one of a series of three pictures that my father took that is useable. He noted on the slide that this was taken on the day that the Caledonia left the Clyde.
To quote Colin Smith on the Scotships Yahoo group
“She was sold on 11th February 1970 and was towed from Dalmuir down to Greenock on 31st
December 1971. She left the Clyde on January 2nd 1972 towed by the tug FAIRPLAY XI”.
